Abstract

Kinali 1 Village is one village in the sub-district of kawangkoan which is always well known for its roasted peanut entrepreneurs. Those who still retain their business to date, linked also with entrepreneurial characteristics they possess, whether or not in the operations of their home industry they have five characteristics of entrepreneurs.
this study was conducted to determine the characteristics of the roasted peanut home industry in the village, to be used as a reference in running and developing the business, as government consideration in giving business capital, and as an additional information for entrepreneurs who want to do the same business and also for subsequent studies. 15 respondents of roasted peanut home industry were used in this, used descriptive statistical research technique, and there were 5 variables to be studied, namely: Confident, orientation.
the results show the fifth entrepreneurial characteristics entrepreneurship has researched, with the average value of the overall characteristics of courage to take risks with the value of 3.74, leadership with the value of 3.75, and confident with the value of 3.28 results entered in the medium criteria, and future orientation with the value of 1.49 entered in the criteria is very low.
