Abstract

The skin is one part of the body is quite sensitive to various diseases. The factors that influence the high prevalence of skin diseases is a hot and humid climate, poor personal hygiene is cleanliness of the skin, nail hygiene, bathing
intensity besides inadequate economic factors also affected. Hygiene to the community in the District III LalowVillage LolakBolaangMongondowof 50 respondents, 34 respondents (68%) had poor personal hygiene, and 16 respondents (32%) choose a good personal hygiene. This research is an
analytical survey with cross sectional study design. The samples were 50 female and men respondents. Data collection techniques with questionnaires.Analysis of the data using che square test, with the help of the computer program. So, there was no significant correlation between the influence of personal hygiene with skin disease on the residents in the rural hamlet of 3 districts Lolak Lalow Bolaang Mongondow with using Chesquere tests Based on the results of the bivariate analysis, the obtained results of p = 0.159 with a significance level α = 0.05. The results showed that there was no significant relationship between skin hygiene.
